professor zhao’s primary research interests include entrepreneurship, recruitment, leadership, and employee creativity. he is especially interested in exploring factors that encourage people to become entrepreneurs and succeed, such as self-efficacy, personalities, personal values, team dynamics, and entrepreneurship education/training. his work has been published in leading academic journals including journal of applied psychology, personnel psychology, journal of management, leadership quarterly, and journal of business venturing. he is currently on the editorial board of journal of business venturing and human relations. his research is well cited, and he won the emerald citations of excellence award for high impact papers in 2012 and 2011.
hao zhao is also an adjunct professor of fordham.
